One day, a sneaky jackal stole a juicy rabbit from a farmer’s garden. He was so happy with his catch that he quickly ran towards his cave to enjoy his meal.
But on the way, he met a strong and fierce tiger. The tiger’s eyes gleamed as he saw the rabbit in the jackal’s mouth.
The jackal held on tightly and said, “This is mine! I caught it first.”
The tiger laughed and said, “Oh? But I see you are carrying my dinner!” Before the jackal could say another word, the tiger grabbed the rabbit and took a big bite.
The jackal watched helplessly as the tiger finished the meal. The tiger licked his paws and said, “You must thank the farmer for such a tasty treat!”
The jackal sighed and walked away, learning that what is taken unfairly can be taken away just as easily.
Moral of the story: What is stolen never truly belongs to you.
