A beautiful peacock loved showing off his bright feathers. “I am the most beautiful bird in the jungle!” he boasted. The wise old owl, sitting on a tree branch, said, “Beauty is not everything. What matters is wisdom and kindness.”

One day, a hunter entered the jungle. The peacock danced to impress him, but the hunter threw a net over him! “Help! Someone, save me!” the peacock cried.

The owl swooped down and distracted the hunter, allowing the peacock to escape. “Today, I learned that wisdom is more valuable than beauty,” the peacock admitted.
