The Lovern Lion and The Peasant

Unluckily for him, a lion fell in love with a peasant’s beautiful daughter, and approached him, asking if he could marry his daughter. Worried for his daughter, the peasant searched for an excuse, as he lacked the courage to openly refuse the lion. Finally, he told the lion: ‘As my daughter has an allergy to teeth and claws, you will have to get yours’ removed, if you wish to marry her.’

The lovesick lion did exactly that and returned. But, as he was harmless now, lacking teeth and claws, the peasant beat him badly with a stick and sent him running away.
